Music Promo 101 with Katie Ashton

BIMI Music Journalism graduate Katie Ashton is a music PR and promotions assistant at an independent boutique PR agency, Yes Please, whose work focuses on bolstering both up-and-coming and established musicians, as well as festivals in the press, online, radio and TV sphere.

Alongside her work at Yes Please, she writes for alternative music site Noizze, has been published in The Sun, The Argus, and a plethora of other publications, and additionally worked as a freelance social media moderator from 2021-2022 for an award-winning creative production company and industrial metal band.
