Introduction to Releasing Music with Josie Faulkner

Josie Faulkner is Label and Events Coordinator at the independent record label Big Scary Monsters. She has been responsible for a range of the label’s events, including pop-up shops in Cardiff, Glasgow, Brighton and Cologne, as well as all-day festivals Big Day Out, Summer In The City and artist release parties.

Josie also takes care of the label’s webstore and logistics, funding opportunities, international visas for artists and is part of the merchandise team for 2000 Trees and ArcTanGent Festivals. She has worked on a range of album releases since 2018, including artists The Winter Passing, ME REX, Weakened Friends, LIES, Oceanator and Lambrini Girls.
